New area education officers appointed

Islamabad: The Federal Directorate of Education has appointed new area education officers to Sihala and Tarnol sectors.

According to a FDE notification, Sihala AEO Dr Ehsan Mehmood has been made Tarnol AEO, while Dr Shafqat Janjua will replace him as Sihala AEO. Dr Ehsan Mehmood, former principal at the Islamabad Model College for Boys I-10/1, was made Sihala AEO of late.

The two have formally assumed the new responsibility. They said they would make every effort to improve educational standard at government schools and colleges in their respective sectors besides effectively addressing the issues and challenges facing students and teachers.
