3 killed, 6 injured in DI Khan firing
KOHAT: Three persons, including a passerby, were killed and six others sustained injuries as gunmen fired at a car over old enmity here in the district, police sources said.They said the police arrested three accused.
The sources said that the accused Samin Iqbal, Younus Khan and Faraz, who were riding two bikes, allegedly opened indiscriminate fire on the car at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chowk here.
As a result, the police said that Tahir Shah, Haroon Shah and a passerby Amir Hayat were killed on the spot in the incident. They said that six other persons, including an attacker Samin Iqbal, an army soldier Sajid, a woman Shagufta Bibi, Younus and an auto rickshaw driver Wakeel sustained injuries in the incident.The police said the injured were taken to hospitals in the district. The accused escaped, but were later arrested by the police during a raid.
