Jamrud elders vow to fight alongside Pak Army
JAMRUD: Tribal elders at a jirga here on Monday vowed to fight alongside Pakistan Army if India dared to attack the motherland.
The jirga was held at Tidi Bazaar in Jamrud under the auspices of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) Grand Alliance.
It was attended by tribal elders, including former Member National Assembly Noorul Haq Qadri, Muhammad Shah, Malik Waris Khan, Malik Salahuddin Kukikhel, Malik Khan Marjan Wazir, Malik Daud Khan Afridi, Malik Muhammad Amin, Malik Darya Khan Afridi and others.
The tribal elders said the people of Fata had always offered sacrifices for the country and they would not let anyone cast an evil eye on the motherland. They said they were soldiers in civvies and vowed to repeat the history as once their ancestors had helped liberated the occupied valley of Kashmir from the Indian occupation.The tribesmen urged the United Nations to play its role to end Indian atrocities in the occupied Kashmir.
