Fatima Jinnah Women University since its establishment has played a pivotal role in providing professional development opportunities to faculty and staff members. In its quest to improve the quality of education, the university is hosting a 5-day Short Term Training of College Principals/DDOs, in collaboration with Punjab Higher Education Department and Punjab Higher Education Commission on Governance, Finance, and Audit.
Forty-eight principals/ DDOs from different areas of District Rawalpindi are participating in the workshop. Workshop will continue up till 26th of August at FJWU. Dr. Samina Naseem from Education Department, FJWU is coordinator of this workshop.
This training is aimed at transforming colleges into a learning hub and encourage a culture of continual learning among employees. In the opening ceremony of the workshop, Punjab Higher Education Commission, Director, Syed Musa Hassan while highlighting importance of such professional development workshop, said that bringing together leaders from different institutions provide platform to think about ways to move forward.
