Ban on sand mining lifted
GHAZI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Mineral Development Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli on Monday issued directives to lift ban on sand mines.
During a visit to the sand mines in Ghazi here, she also issued directives to put up the mines for auction.Anisa Zeb said that the country’s future was in the continuation of democratic process. She said the government would not tolerate corruption and would take stern action against corrupt elements. The minister said the provincial government had taken steps for promotion of industrial sector in the province. She said that chief minister had showed confidence in her team.
The minister said she was taking steps for the welfare of labourers. She thanked chief minister for approving a library and community hall to be established in Ghazi.
