Participants of a condolence reference at the International Islamic University (IIU), which was held for martyrs of Sunday's Quetta suicide blast, called for counter narrative approach to get rid of the menace of terrorism.
The IIU had lost seven of its alumni lawyers in Monday’s blast which claimed scores of lives in the capital city of Baluchistan province.
The participants condoled to IIU Rector Dr. Masoom Yasinzai who lost few of his relatives in the sad incident, they also prayed for the eternal peace of departed souls.
“The nation is facing a tough time, terrorism has crippled the society, it’s time to rise, we need to be united as silence is not a solution,” said Dr. Masoom Yasinzai at the reference.
