HMC doctors to get raise in salaries retrospectively
PESHAWAR: Acting Medical Director of Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) Prof Mohammad Noor Wazir on Thursday said all house officers serving at the facility would get upward revision and arrears of their stipends next month.
Talking to house officers at the HMC auditorium, he said in pursuance of the policy of the Khyber Pakhtun-khwa government and the raise announced by the Health Department, the administration of the hospital had decided to pay the stipend and arrears since April last.
He hoped that the 151 house officers posted at HMC-(MTI) would also put in their best to serve the masses. The acting medical director believed that the biometric system installed at the hospital to check presence of the staff, was a step towards transparency.
