‘Sultan’ will rewrite history at worldwide box office
KARACHI: The huge hype surrounding Salman Khan's “Sultan” predicts that the Eid release will rewrite history at the worldwide box office and thus filmmakers are postponing their film releases. The pre-release report of Salman's “Sultan” is positive around the world, including Pakistan.
After creating a storm in India, the “Sultan” mania has hit the peak at the ticket windows in Pakistan. In Pakistan, local filmmakers have postponed their film's release, as “Sultan” is gaining more attraction at the ticket window after several trade experts declared Salman's film a blockbuster hit.
It is being reported that "Sultan" will be the most profitable film this year during the Eidul Fitr 2016 holiday in Pakistan. And now expectations are high how "Sultan" might shatter the records of many Pakistani's films.
It looks like that Salman is all set to rewrite history at the box office with his Eid release "Sultan." Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial "Sultan," also starring Anushka Sharma, Amit Sadh and RandeepHooda, is slated for July 6 release in India and Pakistan.
Sultan can be called Salman Khan’s dream project. The actor is very ambitious about the film and has left no stone unturned to give his heart and soul to the film. The actor has done everything from drinking green tea to maintain his voice quality to putting his health at risk by bulking up to play the role of a wrestler. The actor has largely avoided body doubles and performed immensely risky stunts and action scenes all by himself in the upcoming flick. The actor has broken box-office records earlier with super hit movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan. However, it appears that the actor has decided to break his own records this time with Sultan.
The actor along with Yash Raj Films has decided to leave nothing to make this flick a huge success. They have been booking for the movie almost all the theatres across the country. Apparently, the makers have booked nearly 5000 screens as of now. Sultan would have the widest Bollywood opening ever in India!
Salman’s last Eid release, Bajrangi Bhaijaan was the one to have the widest Bollywood release in about 4500+ screens. However with about 5000, Sultan would break its records even before it releases.
Sultan is believed to break all past records in the premiere week itself. Right now the opening day record is held by Happy New Year (Rs44.97 crore) and the highest opening weekend record is held by PremRatanDhanPayo (Rs129.77 crore). Although the amount seems to be really huge, our experts believe that Sultan would break all the records easily.
