Peace and brotherhood stressed in Murharram
PARACHINAR: Religious scholars at a seminar on Sunday urged the people to work for peace and brotherhood in the society.They were speaking at a seminar titled “Istaqbal-e-Muharram” held at the Majlis Ulema-e-Ahl-e-Bait.
It was addressed by prominent religious scholars, including Allama Syed Ahmad Hussain Al-Hussaini, Dr Syed Suja Hussain Al-Hussaini, Syed Sadiq Hussain Al-Hussaini, Syed Mehruddin, Allama Ahmad Ali Rohani, Baqar Haidari and others.
The speakers talked in detail about significance of Muharram and the importance of peace, brotherhood, and mutual respect. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of modesty in society and the need to practice it.
Special prayers were offered for the unity of the Muslim Ummah, the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs, and the resolution of challenges facing Pakistan, Iran, and other Muslim countries. The seminar was attended by members of Tehreek-e-Hussaini, Anjuman-e-Hussainia and people from various walks of life.
