Inter city buses used to be readily available for commuters travelling from Karachi to other cities in Pakistan. One could easily find these buses at Cantt Station, near the main commercial district. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case, for reasons best known by the transport authorities.
Instead, these buses are now being stationed in the Sohrab Goth area, which is about 50 kilometres away from the business district. While it is no bad thing to have buses in the Sohrab Goth area, there is a need to revive the inter-city bus facility closer to the business district as well.
