Bodybuilding federation elections in Lahore today
LAHORE: The Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation (PBF) is set to hold its much-anticipated elections on Friday (today) under the supervision of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB).
The polling will take place at 2:30 PM at the PSB Coaching Centre, Ferozepur Road, Lahore. According to the PSB Election Commission, a competitive field has emerged, with three candidates each vying for the top posts of President, Secretary General, and Treasurer, and 11 candidates contesting for Vice President. The executive member category has been annulled under Article IX (a) of the federation’s constitution.
Presidential hopefuls are Abdul Jawad, Muhammad Tariq Hassan, and Nadeem Ahmad. The Election Commission, headed by Chief Election Commissioner Waseem Majid Malik with members Babur Suhail and Zohaib Hassan Gondal, has issued a strict code of conduct.
