Two killed, one injured in firing incident over personal dispute
Two people were killed and another injured in a firing incident that occurred inside a house in Ittehad Town, reportedly due to a personal dispute.
According to police and eyewitness accounts, the deceased were identified as Yousaf Rehman, 30, son of Raees Khan, and Sana Gul, 25. The injured was identified as Ateeq Ur Rehman, 25, also a son of Raees Khan.
All three victims were transported to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for legal formalities and medical treatment. The police stated that the shooting took place inside a house located near Umar Bin Khattab Masjid, Old W-25 Bus Stop in Muhammad Khan Colony. An exchange of gunfire reportedly broke out between two parties over a personal feud.
A 30-bore pistol was recovered from the scene, and the Crime Scene Unit was called in to collect evidence. Authorities had detained two individuals for questioning and had also included a woman, identified as Nabila, in the investigation. The police said the inquiry is ongoing as they continue to gather further details surrounding the incident.
