Two suspected robbers were killed and one was injured during a police encounter in Gulshan-e-Iqbal on Thursday. The exchange of fire took place near Moon Garden Apartments in Block 10-A of the area. Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the casualties to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC). The deceased suspects were identified as 20-year-old Mehran, son of Ghulam Yousuf, and 23-year-old Jahangir, son of Gul. The injured suspect was identified as 22-year-old Muzammil, son of Muzaffar-ul-Haq. The police cordoned off the area, and further investigation into the incident was currently underway.
