Four people killed in North Waziristan clash

MIRANSHAH: A clash between two rival groups in the Boya Tehsil of the North Waziristan tribal district resulted in the deaths of four people and injuries to two others, police said.
According to District Police Officer Waqar Ahmad, the exchange of gunfire occurred near the Boya Bridge when thousands of people were celebrating Eid in the area. The firing left four people dead and two injured. Police termed the incident as an outcome of an old enmity.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to the Miranshah Headquarters Hospital. The DPO added that police had registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
