The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) implemented comprehensive arrangements for Eidul Azha 2025 to ensure cleanliness, safe and timely disposal of waste, and overall convenience for the residents.

During the three-day special cleanliness operation, the CBC deployed 160 vehicles and over 1,200 staff working round the clock to keep the area clean, safe, and free from stench. To monitor the sanitation and security operations, the CBC's central control room and virtual office were activated round to clock, which enabled real-time surveillance of sacrificial camps, cleanliness, crew movements and immediate resolution of public complaints.

To streamline management, the CBC established special camps in DHA phases 1, 2, 2 Extension, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7 Extension, 8 and Clifton blocks 8 and 9. CBC Executive Officer Muhammad Umar Farooq Ali Malik stated that the cantonment board had aimed to provide residents with a safe, convenient and Shariah-compliant sacrificial process. “Animal sacrifice was permitted only within residential premises or designated CBC camps, with strict prohibitions on public roads/open spaces. These steps ensured hygiene, urban discipline and respect for religious rites.” He added that the CBC appreciated the residents' cooperation and remained committed to its responsibilities.
