Eidul Azha reminds value of sacrifice, says governor
LAHORE:Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan in his message on the occasion of Eidul Azha said it serves as a reminder to embody the values of sacrifice, selflessness, and devotion.
Emphasising the spirit of compassion, he urged the nation to prioritise the welfare of the poor, needy, and deserving individuals, ensuring that they feel included in Eid festivities. Governor prayed for peace, stability, and prosperity to prevail in the country.
Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider also expressed solidarity with the Muslims of Kashmir and Palestine, praying for an end to their sufferings and the grant of freedom. He paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national security and eradicating terrorism. He said that we should shun hatred and spread love and compassion.
