KOHAT: District and Sessions Judge Sofia Waqar Khattak has ordered the immediate release of six prisoners involved in petty crimes.
She paid an official visit to the jail in connection with Eid festivities and humanitarian concerns. She was accompanied by the judicial Magistrate during the inspection.During the visit, the judge ordered the release of six prisoners involved in minor offenses as a gesture of goodwill for Eid. The judge thoroughly inspected various sections of the jail and expressed concern over the living conditions of the inmates. She issued strict directives to the jail superintendent to ensure the provision of all basic facilities to the prisoners without delay.
