Seven suspected robbers arrested in various operations

The Shah Latif Town police on Sunday claimed to have busted a gang of robbers arresting four suspects identified as Ishaq, alias Don, Safdar, Abdul Malik and Habibullah.

Police said Ishaq was the leader of the gang and they seized a pistol, car, four mobile phones and cash from their possession. According to police, the gang particularly targeted trucks carrying iron rods and medicines.

Meanwhile, the Surjani Town police reportedly arrested two suspects identified as Faizan and Sagar after an alleged encounter in Mir Khan Goth. In another alleged encounter in the Shah Faisal Colony area, police arrested a suspect in injured condition. He was identified as Raheel. Police said they had recovered two stolen mobile phones from his possession.
