There is hardly a single day when multiple motorcycles are not snatched in the small town of Johi, Sindh. Last week, a group of civil society organisations held a sit-in demanding improvements in the law-and-order situation in Johi.
After hearing public complaints, the authorities assured the citizens that law and order would be maintained at all costs in the district. However, even in the short time since then, more motorcycles have been stolen. The culprits almost seem to be taunting the authorities and flaunting their power and impunity.
