‘Out-of-school children a big issue’
Rawalpindi:Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain, Central President of the All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association, emphasized the need for concrete steps to bring 35 million out-of-school children to school in Pakistan. He suggested that a plan of action should be prepared at the government level to prevent anti-education activities in the country.
The awareness seminar, organised in collaboration with Al-Wilayat Organisation at Fatima Jinnah Women University, brought together education experts and university students to discuss the challenges facing the education sector in Pakistan. Dr. Abrar Hussain stressed that a comprehensive plan is required to improve the education system and ensure that every child has access to education.He condemned the recent suicide attack on the Army Public School bus in Khuzdar, describing it as a hostile act against education.
