I would like to draw your attention to the extremely poor mobile network services in the Loher Galiyat region of Abbottabad District. For months now, users in our area have not been able to make regular calls or access essential services such as WhatsApp calls, mobile data or consistent internet browsing. At best, only basic text messaging (SMS) works intermittently. This situation has severely disrupted communication in our area. Many students and freelancers who rely on the internet for education and remote work have been forced to relocate to urban areas, incurring significant hardship and financial burdens. Moreover, despite the lack of service, mobile users continue to lose money on monthly packages that they are unable to use.
This is unfair and deeply frustrating for thousands of affected users. Connectivity is a basic necessity in today’s digital age, and the absence of it is not just an inconvenience but a denial of basic rights in the modern world. We hope the PTA will take serious notice of this matter and ensure that quality telecom services are restored in our area without further delay.
