I am writing to express my deep concern over the ongoing electricity crisis and frequent loadshedding that has made the lives of citizens miserable, especially during the peak summer months. Long hours without power have become a daily routine. Despite repeated promises from the authorities, there seems to be no long-term solution in sight. Urban and rural areas alike are facing unannounced power outages, making it difficult to carry out even basic daily activities. Industries are also suffering, resulting in economic losses and job cuts.
The public deserves uninterrupted power supply and transparency from relevant departments. The government must take serious and urgent steps to upgrade the power infrastructure, invest in alternative energy sources and hold those responsible for mismanagement and corruption in the energy sector accountable.
