Fabricated narrative

The recent escalation between Pakistan and India has sent ripples around the world, with the Indian politicians and media blaming Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack and aggressively pushing for air strikes against the country. The speed of the Indian media’s verbal assault is quite striking, propagating a fabricated anti-Pakistan narrative mere minutes after the alleged attack in IIOJK. This haste in assigning blame raises eyebrows and sparks curiosity about the true intentions behind India’s accusations. History seems to be repeating itself. In 2000, India orchestrated a similar drama during a visit by the United States president, only to be later exposed for its false allegations. The question arises: why does India insist on antagonising its neighbour?

Following the Pahalgam attack, Pakistan offered a fair investigation, yet India retreated. While Pakistan undoubtedly desires peace in the region, it will respond strongly if provoked. India is well aware of this dynamic, which explains its initial sabre-rattling followed by a defensive posture. As both nations are nuclear powers, a war would have catastrophic consequences. However, the region can flourish if India adopts a serious approach, respects its neighbours, stops making unfounded allegations and prioritises peace.
