Eight office-bearers elected unopposed in Sindh’s Young Parliamentarians' Forum
All eight office-bearers of the newly formed Young Parliamentarians' Forum, comprising young members of the Sindh Assembly, have been elected unopposed.
A notification to this effect has been issued by the Secretary of the Sindh Assembly on Friday. The ruling Pakistan Peoples Party's MPA Syeda Marvi Faseeh had been elected unopposed as President of the forum.
Hallar Wassan, another PPP MPA, had been elected as Senior Vice President, while Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) MPA Shariq Jamal had been elected as Vice President. PPP MPA Shiraz Shaukat Rajper had been named General Secretary, and MQM-P lawmaker Muhammad Daniyal had been elected as Joint Secretary.
PPP legislator Khurram Karim Soomro had been chosen as Additional Joint Secretary, MPA Makhdoom Fakhar Zaman of PPP as Information Secretary, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) legislator Bilal Hussain Khan Jadoon had been elected as Finance Secretary of the Young Parliamentarians' Forum.
