Reception hosted for minister of religious affairs

Islamabad: A reception was hosted in honour of the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf here on Friday. Dr. Muzaffar Hussain, Professor Sajjad Qamar, Chaudhry Maroof Anjum, Chaudhry Muhammad Rafi organised the event while AJK Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Latif Akbar presided over.

Former federal ministers Chaudhry Qamar Zaman Kaira and Chaudhry Jaffar Iqbal, Malik Iftikhar MPA, former chief justice AJK Chaudhry Ibrahim Zia, former MPA Fiazul Hassan Chohan, Deputy Speaker AJK Assembly Chaudhry Riaz Gujjar, member of the Council of Islamic Ideology Hafiz Amjad Hussain and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said that Pakistan is a country of gracious people where people from all sects and religions could spend their lives according to their thoughts. Noting that Pakistan was passing through a critical period, the Minister also maintained that the whole nation was at the back of Pakistan Army and ready render sacrifices for defence of the country.
