LAHORE:In order to review the ongoing development works, Wasa MD Ghufran Ahmed visited various city areas here on Thursday.
The MD visited areas of Ravi Town including Circular Road Bhati Gate, 82 feet Road Farrukhabad and Baradari Road. Director Ravi Town Usman Babar gave a briefing to MD Ghufran Ahmed.
He informed the MD that 4,000 feet of sewerage line was being laid from Bhati Gate to Shah Alam Chowk while the work of laying 1400 feet of sewerage line on Circular Road was near completion. He said 48 inch diameter pipes were being laid for the Circular Road sewerage line.
The MD was further informed that the work of laying the Circular Road sewerage line will be completed by May 30 while 35 percent of the sewerage work on 82 feet Road Farrukhabad has been completed and pipes of 54 inches, 48 inches, 42 inches and 36 inches diameter were being laid on the 82-foot road. The work of the 4,000-foot sewage pipeline will be completed by May 30.
MD Ghafran Ahmed instructed to accelerate the pace of work on development projects. He said minimum hurdles will be created on the roads to avoid the traffic blockage and smooth flow.
