PPSC approves change in syllabi
LAHORE:A full commission meeting of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) was held at the PPSC Headquarters, here.
The meeting was chaired by Lieutenant General (Retired) Muhammad Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Punjab Public Service Commission. Secretary PPSC, Afzal Ahmad, also participated in the meeting along with the members of the Commission and other officials.
Several decisions were ratified during the meeting. Among these was the approval of changes in the syllabus for the posts of Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies, Lady Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies, Tehsildar, and Naib Tehsildar.
According to the details, prior to the change, candidates were required to take a paper in English Essay and Composition. This has now been modified, and candidates will only be required to take an exam in English Essay. No other changes have been made to the syllabus. Another significant amendment was made to the PPSC Regulations.
The previously fixed timeframe for administrative departments to send requisitions has been abolished. Earlier, administrative departments were not allowed to send requisitions to PPSC from January 1 to June 30.
