PGF lauds effort of Shahmeer, Sara
ISLAMABAD: Shahmeer Maajid and Sara Amin Khan represented Pakistan in The Royal Junior Golf Championship held in Japan.
This prestigious event featured some of the top Under-18 golfers from across Asia and was conducted under the auspices of the R&A, Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC), and Nippon Kabaya Ohayo Holdings Inc. Shahmeer competing in the Boys’ Under-18 category, finished 37th on the final leaderboard with a total score of 24 over par.
Despite a tough field and challenging conditions, Shahmeer displayed resilience and determination throughout three rounds. Sara Amin Khan, competing in the Girls’ Under-18 category, secured the 42nd position with a final score of 30 over par. Her participation in this high-level international event marks a significant step forward in her golfing career.
