LANDIKOTAL: A two-day free medical camp concluded in Landikotal, offering vital eye and general health services to local residents.
The camp was organised by Frontier Corps North, Khyber Rifles Headquarters, at Government Primary School Landikotal in Khyber district, with the support of Al-Shifa Eye Trust Hospital, Islamabad.
Qualified male and female doctors, along with medical staff from Al-Shifa Hospital, provided thorough checkups, diagnostic tests and treatment for eye and general health issues.More than 2,000 patients, including men, women and children were examined. Free eyeglasses, medicines and lab tests were also conducted for patients.
Residents of Landikotal welcomed the initiative and praised the efforts of the security forces and doctors for serving the local community.Local elders highlighted the importance of such camps in remote areas where access to quality healthcare remains limited and expensive for many.
