Old enmity ends

KHAR: A 98-year-old enmity between two groups in the Loi Mamond Khurchey area of Bajaur district has come to an end with the efforts of elders and a local jirga.
The longstanding conflict had claimed several lives. However, with continued negotiations and the wisdom of tribal elders, both parties decided to bury the hatchet.Speaking at a peace ceremony, community leaders and jirga members expressed great joy over the resolution of the conflict.
They said that violence and warfare were never a solution, and peaceful dialogue was the true path to resolving disputes.Both parties vowed to live like brothers moving forward and pledged not to harm each other again.
