‘Girls build empowered nations’
Islamabad : Executive Director of the Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education Fajer Rabia Pasha called on Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar at the ministry to discuss the future of girls’ education in the country.
They spoke about expanding access, promoting equity and empowering young girls through quality education, especially in underserved communities.
Both emphasised the need for collaborative efforts and sustainable strategies to ensure no girl is left behind.
“Empowered girls build empowered nations,” the minister said. Also, she held a meeting with Vice Chancellor of the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics Dr Nadeem Javaid. Their discussion focused on shaping the future of education in Pakistan, with special emphasis on research-driven policy, innovation in higher education and aligning academic curricula with market needs.
