Thousands of thalassemia children are being provided with the best medical facilities under its umbrella. This institution has been serving for the last 22 years. Thalassemia Prevention Programme in Punjab was started under the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif. Now under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, this programme is now being expanded further. So far, four lacs people have been counseled. Khawaja Salman Rafique, while answering questions, said that a committee has been formed under the leadership of Ishaq Dar and Mukhtar Barth on the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. On the recommendations of the committee, there has been a clear reduction in the fees of private medical colleges. I am confident that Munnu Bhai will have high ranks in heaven for planting a sapling. Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Thalassemia patients treatment programme will soon be started in BHUs and RHCs. It is always a pleasure to see his foundation and his services. I thank his foundation and such welfare organisations. If even a single child is treated because of me, I will be very happy. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has always provided resources to the health sector beyond expectations. CM Maryam Nawaz is a caring mother, striving to help people. Khawaja Imran said that news spread about me in the media is baseless.
