Saif condemns ‘crackdown’ on PTI workers
PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister for Information and Public Relations Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has condemned the crackdown on Pakistan tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) workers in Punjab for celebrating Pakistan Day.
“The fake CM Punjab is issuing orders from Saudi Arabia to arrest PTI workers,” he said in a statement issued on Tuesday.Barrister saif claimed even workers were taken out from mosques and thrown into jails. He said Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has continued her fascist tactics even during Ramazan.
Barrister Dr Saif stated that innocent PTI workers were being punished simply for their love for Pakistan and Imran Khan.He added that the massive PTI rallies on Pakistan Day have instilled fear in the so-called government. According to him, the overwhelming public turnout on Pakistan Day has confirmed the illegitimacy of the current administration.
He further said that the people have renewed their pledge for true freedom and have given a clear referendum against the fake government. From Khyber to Karachi, massive crowds have reminded the Form 47 mafia of their true status.
