Promotion aspirant DSPs call on IGP
LAHORE: DSPs serving in various districts, units and wings of Punjab Tuesday called on Inspector General Police (IGP), Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar and presented their pleas at the Central Police Office (CPO).
According to Punjab Police spokesperson, the IGP told the DSPs, whose names were not included in the recent promotion board, that their cases would be considered in the next board instead of one year.
Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana and DIG Headquarters Dr Muhammad Abid Khan were also present on the occasion. The IGP said more than 40 seats for the post of SPs are coming up soon in various wings including Safe Cities Authority, Riot Management Police and CCD. He asked them to keep their ACRs and other records complete and serve the country and the nation with full devotion and integrity.
