Rawalpindi:Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) conducted a massive operation against encroachments in People’s Colony Bazaar in which encroaching material of 13 trucks were seized.
The operation was launched on the basis of monitoring and surveillance of the areas. According to the details, DG (ML&C), had instructed RCB for conducting anti encroachment-operation in various major bazaars of the Cantt areas.
During the operation, hundreds of illegal sheds, signboards, iron fences outside shops were demolished, footpaths and paved paths outside shops were also demolished. Operations are being conducted under the supervision of Additional CEO Arshad Khan.
CEO Syed Ali Irfan Rizvi reiterated that under the zero tolerance policy against encroachments, the enforcement staff demolished illegal fences, signboards, and posts on the road.
