Boy abducted for ransom rescued; 3 held
LAHORE:Police rescued a 10-year-old boy, Zaman, who was abducted from Gujjarpura on February 6. The police operation resulted in the arrest of the kidnappers and the recovery of Rs8million ransom money along with illegal weapons. The police team led by SP Civil Lines (Operations) Abdul Hanan carried out swift action which led to the recovery of Zaman. The kidnappers namely Adil, Abrar and Babar were arrested in an operation in Chung. The operation utilised human intelligence and modern technology to rescue the child and apprehend the culprits. Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana praised the performance of DSP Sohail Kazmi and SHO Muhammad Zaka for their professionalism and quick response, presenting them with certificates of appreciation.
