Cops’ families get cheques worth Rs3m

MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Department on Saturday distributed cheques worth Rs3 million among families of cops under a welfare scheme.

“We want to ensure our cops perform duties without financial worries. This amount has been distributed to help arrange the weddings of their daughters, cover educational scholarships and medical expenses,” District Police Officer Shafiullah Khan Gandapur told the cheques distribution ceremony here.He added that cheques were handed over to 42 police personnel and their families.
