Gold prices decline Rs1,000 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan dropped on Saturday, mirroring declines in global markets. The per tola price fell by Rs1,000 to Rs306,000, according to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 10-gram gold slipped by Rs858 to Rs262,345.

International gold prices also edged lower, with the APGJSA reporting the global rate at $2,910 per ounce, including a $20 premium, down $11 for the day. Silver prices followed suit, declining by Rs12 per tola to settle at Rs3,388.
