Three officers vie for promotion to BS-22 from Information Group
Top in seniority is Sohail Ali Khan, who is awaiting appointment and will retire on March 31, 2025
ISLAMABAD: A panel of three officers of Grade 21 of Information Group will be considered in the meeting of high-powered selection board on March 10 to decide the name of an officer for promotion to Grade 22.
Among them, the top in seniority is Sohail Ali Khan, who is awaiting appointment and will retire on March 31, 2025. Syed Mubashir Tauqeer, who is the DG Information Academy, is in the second place. He is scheduled to retire on June 5 this year.
Ambreen Jan, currently posted as Secretary-in-charge of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is in the third place. She is set to retire on October 22, 2025.
It may be recalled that there is one post of Grade 22 in the Information Group and there is no seniority formula. The board decides to promote whoever it deems suitable for promotion.
