Man gets life term

CHARSADDA: A local court here on Saturday sentenced a man to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs700,000 after being found guilty of murder.

The convict had killed one person and injured two others over a land dispute three years ago. Following the verdict, he was taken into custody and transferred to jail.

Additional Sessions Judge Shamsul Huda found the accused, Raham Dad guilty of murder and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Raham Dad had opened fire during a land dispute, killing Rehmanullah and injuring two others, Ehtesham and Usama.

Following the incident, the police arrested the accused, and after a thorough trial, the court delivered its verdict.
