ETPB chairman has formed a four-member committee to recommend amendments
ISLAMABAD: A decision has been taken to review the Evacuee Trust Properties Board (ETPB) (Management and Disposal) Amendment Bill, 2012.
These amendments are being made to make the Board more efficient both administratively and operationally and to adapt it to the realities and requirements of the present day. The ETPB chairman has formed a four-member committee to recommend amendments.
Senior Joint Secretary to the Minister for Religious Affairs Mirza Ali Mehsud will head the committee. Other members include Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs Imran Rashid, Director Legal, ETPB Uzma Shahzadi and Administrator, Faisalabad Zone Saleem Gondal.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has directed the ETPB secretary to finalise the proposals for amendments within two weeks.
