Rang-e-Pakistan Festival from tomorrow
Islamabad:Lok Virsa is all set to launch the much-awaited Rang-e-Pakistan Festival. The three-day cultural extravaganza will run from February 22 to 24, celebrating Pakistan's rich cultural, historical, and literary heritage.
The festival, to be held at Lok Virsa, will feature an exciting line-up of activities including artisans’ craftsmanship exhibition, musical performances, storytelling sessions, cultural dance shows, ‘Qawwali’ sessions, puppet shows, cultural and historical book exhibitions, traditional food stalls and calligraphy exhibition.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at Lok Virsa premises. In collaboration with various organisations, working under the administrative oversight the National Heritage and Culture Division, such as the Pakistan National Council of the Arts, Pakistan Academy of Letters, Department of Archaeology and Museums, National Language Promotion Department, National Library of Pakistan and Quaid-i-Azam Academy.
