3rd Sundar Industrial Expo opens
LAHORE:Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company Chairman Javed Iqbal inaugurated the 3rd Sundar Industrial Expo 2025. More than 300 national and multinational companies are presenting their products at the Expo.
The event was attended by President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mian Abuzar Shad, NAB DG M Ahtaram Dar, Syed Nabeel Hashmi, Mohsin Syed, Shehzad Azam Khan, Sajid Saleem Minhas, Hafiz Mian M Noman, and industrialists. Chairman PIEDMC and other dignitaries planted saplings under the green estate policy, visited different stalls, and encouraged the industrialists who set up the stalls.
Speaking on the occasion, PIEDMC Chairman Javed Iqbal said that companies setting up stalls in the expo would not only get an opportunity to promote their business but would also get help in increasing business networking. He said that next year this expo would be organised according to international standards, while soon similar expos will be organised in Quaid-i-Azam Industrial Estate Kot Lakhpat and Multan Industrial Estate.
Addressing the businessmen on the occasion, NAB Lahore Director General (DG) M Ahtram Dar said that the industrial sector is playing a vital role in Pakistan’s economic growth. He added that NAB is taking various positive initiatives to facilitate the Pakistani business community. In this regard, a Business Facilitation Cell (BFC) has been established at NAB Lahore, which will assist the business community in resolving genuine complaints relating government departments.He stated that NAB can recommend amendments to laws that hinder business growth under Section 33 (C) of the National Accountability Ordinance (NAO).
