Police performance reviewed
LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana Monday reviewed the department’s performance and the implementation of key performance indicators in a meeting.
In the meeting, it was decided that individuals involved in old enmities would be required to submit surety bonds to prevent further escalation of clashes. The CCPO stressed need for the immediate arrest of fugitives wanted in old enmity-related cases. The CCPO reiterated the importance of adhering to SOPs in rape cases and instructed officials to closely monitor the implementation of protocols at Special Initiative Police Stations (SIPS). He stressed the need for prompt resolution of all complaints related to Lahore, received through the 1787 complaint cell. The CCPO directed senior officers to conduct field visits. CTO Lahore Athar Waheed, DIG Imran Kishwar, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran, SSP (Investigation) Muhammad Naveed and SSP (Operations) Tassawar Iqbal also attended the meeting.
