PSB approves training camp for SABA Championship in India
KARACHI: Pakistan Sports Board has approved a training camp for the preparations of basketball team for South Asian Basketball Championship scheduled in India from April 2-6.
“PSB has approved establishment of National Basketball Training Camp with the strength of 16 athletes and two coaches from February 20th to April 1st at PSC, Islamabad. “PSB will provide facilities to the camp participants which include boarding charges, lodging charges, washing allowance, camp allowance for coaches, and daily allowance to players,” stated
Sohail Gil, Assistant Director (training) in a letter. The players of the camp are: Abdul Wahab, Kaleemullah, Junaid Amjad, Zain-ul-Hasan Khan, Hassan Ahmed, Samar Abbas, Rizwan Khursheed, Rameez Akbar, Umer Saleem, M Hammad, M Abdullah, Jibran Asif, Haroon Rasheed, Haris Ahmed, Farhan Qayyum, and Ali Hamza while M Riaz and Umer Mahmood are the coaches.
