LAHORE: The Pakistan Railways has announced the resumption of Shah Hussain Express (43 Up/44 Dn) between Karachi Cantt and Lahore from February 25 to facilitate passengers.
Shah Hussain Express (43 Up) will depart Karachi Cantt at 7:30pm and arrive in Lahore the next day at 2:15pm, with stops at Hyderabad, Rohri, Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Khanewal and Faisalabad. Similarly, Shah Hussain Express (44 Dn) will leave Lahore at 7pm and reach Karachi Cantt at 2:05pm the following day, stopping at Faisalabad, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Rohri, Hyderabad, Landhi and Drigh Road. The train will consist of 10 economy class coaches, two AC business coaches, 2 AC standard coaches, a power plant and a brake van.
In addition, The Pakistan Railways will run two special trains for pilgrims attending the annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. The first Sehwan Special Train will depart Faisalabad on February 14 at 10pm, stopping at Shorkot, Lodhran, Rohri and Dadu, and arriving at Sehwan Sharif at 2:15pm the next day. The second train will depart Lahore on February 15 at 3pm, stopping at Khanewal, Rohri, Sukkur and Larkana, and arriving at Sehwan Sharif at 9am the following day.
For the return journey, the first train will leave Sehwan Sharif on February 20 at 4pm and reach Faisalabad at 9am the next day. The second train will depart Sehwan Sharif at 5pm and arrive in Lahore at 11:30am the next day.
