US University Fair to be held on 23rd
Islamabad:The EducationUSA is set to host the US University Fair in Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore this month, providing local students with an opportunity to connect directly with admission representatives from accredited US colleges and universities.
Hosted at the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan, EducationUSA in Pakistan is part of a US Department of State network of over 430 international student advising centres in more than 175 countries and territories.
The organisers said the US University Fair, aimed at helping students discover a wide range of educational opportunities in the United States, would be held in Karachi on February 18, 2025, in Lahore on February 21, and in Islamabad on February 23.
According to them, the event is designed for students interested in pursuing higher education in the US Attendees can learn about bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. programmes, making it an essential resource for those considering further education abroad to help them take the first step toward an academic journey on the global stage. The event is free to attend and provides comprehensive, up-to-date information about US higher education. It serves as a one-stop platform for prospective students to discover the best-fit options for their academic and career goals. Top US universities participating in the fair include Concordia University Chicago, DePaul University, Eastern Michigan University (Karachi and Lahore only), Elmhurst University, George Washington University, Indiana University - Bloomington, Indiana University - Indianapolis, Iowa State University, Louisiana Tech University, Montclair State University, Oklahoma City University, Savannah College of Art and Design, Southern Methodist University - Lyle School of Engineering, St. Cloud State University, University of Bridgeport, University of Nebraska - Omaha (Karachi and Lahore only), University of North Carolina Pembroke, University of South Alabama, Webster University, and Wichita State University.
