LAHORE:After successful completion of first phase of Punjab Dhee Rani Programme, the registration for second phase containing 1,500 collective weddings has begun.
Applications can be submitted on the online portal cmp.punjab.gov.pk. either by hand or at the office of the Deputy Director Social Welfare of the district concerned. A Helpline 1312 has already been set up for providing guidance regarding this programme. Under the programme, the Punjab government will provide meal for bride and bridegroom and their close relatives. The newly-wed couples will also get a Salami worth Rs100,000 through ATM card besides gift of necessary furniture and clothes.
