LAHORE:Police have completed security arrangements on Kashmir Solidarity Day on Wednesday (today).
A Punjab police spokesperson said on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, more than 11,000 police officers and personnel will be deployed across the province, including Lahore, for security and traffic arrangements. 175 gazetted officers, 240 inspectors, 600 sub-inspectors and 948 ASIs will perform security duties, while 702 head constables, 8,000 constables and 300 lady personnel will also be on security duty. All activities will be fully monitored through the cameras of the Safe Cities Authority.
The spokesperson said that foolproof security will be provided to 448 programmes on Kashmir Solidarity Day across the province, including Lahore, adding 346 rallies, 84 seminars and 23 other events will be organised.
