PESHAWAR: Lawyers here on Monday boycotted court proceedings in protest against the murder of Ahmad Naseer Hussain Tanoli advocate.The lawyers did not appear in court and all scheduled hearings were postponed.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council Vice Chairman Ahmad Farooq Khattak, Executive Committee Chairman Akbar Khan Kohistani, Peshawar High Court Bar Association President Fida Gul, District Bar Peshawar President Amjad Khan Marwat, and senior lawyers, including Ameen Rehman, Yasir Khattak, Ishaq Ali Qazi, and Ziarat Khan condemned the killing.They demanded the government to apprehend the culprits, emphasizing that lawyers were increasingly vulnerable.
